Plugs and why?

Hi all i changed the plugs today on my girls ph2 172 and the plugs closest to the battery tray the middle where they spark was right down no pointy bit at all. So i moved along to the next plugs and the closer i got to the timing belt the higher the point was getin on the last plug the pointy bit was there. In other words i think they have worn uneven are they suppose to do it like that.

does it drive better now they're changed? over fueling/missfire faulty lambada sensor could have been endless things

yeah they do that, "destructive misfire"

did it have the correct plugs? did you refit the correct plugs?

Hi rockers the car was off the road for a week bust brake line when she parked it up it was running nice. Had the brake line done starts the car up and it was running like a dog that bad my girl thought it was no good at all then today i swapped the lambda sensors round and it was running much better but still with a lil missfire so i thought id change the plugs after i did that it started well but ill no more 2mora when it haves a run out ill post bk..

Hi Fred yes the right plugs were taken out(NGK) and the same put back.im goin 2order new leads 2 mora im tryin to get her runningnice to bring it up to urself (fred) for belts come the end of feb begining of march. I only pald £1500 for the car and my girl keeps her cars a while so worth the £ and fair play this clio is clean and a lot of fun lol

Hi all..... Well after i changed the lambda sensors round and changed the plugs the car is running as sweet as a nut my girl is over the moon there is no miss fire at all and when you put your foot down there aint no hesitation it goes like a rocket. My girl has even sald it drives better than the day we picked it up from the garage even the EML light went out after about 10-15 starts which suprised me. I'v ordered leads so they should be with me soon and as soon as i got funds im goin to get a new lambda sensor so with them 2 items on her it should be even better. So all in all i'v sorted it and its goin very well ........
