Right,

Looking at getting these, however I am concerned that it will fail MOT on the basis that they are not flush with the body work? Is this true? Also, do I really need the locking ones? Or just the normal ones?

shouldn't fail, I've taken many cars with them fitted for MOTs.

Locks are definitely sensible or you leave yourself very succeptable to tampering

I thought this, as anyone could just open it otherwise. It's just I don't want to go butchering my bonnet and then it failing lol!
