Looking at the kit that uses the standard pulleys but does that mean you. Use the standard alternator or Dom you need the off a cup?

You use the standard alternator with Pure's a/c delete kit

As above, you'll be alright.

For reference and anyone looking to fit their lightweight pulley kit to a 172 cup you will need to space out the alternator pulley to suit.

what's the difference between a standard alternator and the cup alternator?

Its a different shape too id assume it has different fixing points.
