Hey! I recently installed a PMS shifter but ran into an issue. When setting the linkage up using the correct method (putting gearbox and shifter into reverse, joining them up), the gears feel nice and crisp but I cannot get into reverse! The linkage physically hits the side of my cat (ph 1 double barrel). After a bit of fiddling and compromise I can get into reverse when I push the shifter hard and sort of move the exhaust out of the way.
What's causing this? Maybe a misalignment of the engine? Or the exhaust itself (even thought I can't see how)?
