Hi Chaps, thought id post up another thread on the Porsche Panamera that i cleaned the other week.
My friend asked if i could go back to give the car a full machine polish, i had already done hes wife's Audi Q3 which he was very happy with, he wanted to bring some life back into the Porsche's paint along with some sealant.
The Porsche is almost 3 years old and has covered just over 50k, i think its on 53k tbh and has spent its life on the motorways. The front bumper and the rear of the sills is full of stone chips so my friend wasn't after full correction, the Porsche had only ever been to hand car washes so was full of swirls. Even the rear light clusters where in a bad way!!
So i got to him at 8am on Saturday, the car was still quite clean from my last visit 3 weeks ago id also done alot of the hard work in de taring it and going over it with iron X but i never got the time to clay the paint as most of my time was spent cleaning the filthy interior.
The car when i arrived.

First thing was to clean the wheel arches, the front wheel arch liners are plastic so these got a spray with G101 and cleaned with woolies wheel brushes but being as the rear arch liners are made from carpet these got cleaned with snow foam and the jet wash.
The last time i didn't need to clean the wheel's as they had just been refurbished, this time the wheels got a wash with Gyeon Q2M bathe shampoo and a hit of Iron X.

I really wanted to get those big green calipers a good clean, they where in need of some loving. I used G101 again with a selection of VP brushes along with my wheel woolies.
The before. They had only ever been cleaned on the front faces, the bits inside where black.
The fronts.

I then moved onto giving the exhaust tail pipes a good clean, i used Britemax metal polish and very fine wire wool. The tail pipes on the Porsche are a brushed S/S finish, they came up great considering i don't think they have ever been done. 😞

Now onto the body work. The car was sprayed with the hose, snow foamed with VP PH Neutral snow foam, once that had time to dwell i jet washed it off.
It was snowed foamed again, the badges, wing vents, fuel filler where cleaned again with G101 and a VP brush and rinsed off. Washed with the 2BM.
