possible camber shift?

I've fitted sportlines when I first got my 182 about two years ago and I get odd handling entering corners, is it possible that there is a small amount of camber movement in doing this that has caused this. There is a small amount of movement with the strut to hub bolts isn't there? What is the standard off the shelf camber, -1.5?

That reads as though you've had "odd" handling for 2 years before looking into this?

Depending on state of top mounts & wishbone bushes etc. camber on a 10 year old Clio seems to be anywhere from positive to about -1.5deg

According to the long lost Fubar guides factory tolerances on a Ph2 172 are 1.02 +-30mins (= nigh on -0.5 to -1.5 deg)

No it's just been recently but I see what you mean. I'm just trying to decide where to spend first as I can't plough that much into it. It's only fairly low miles, 56k so it's more age than miles. The bushes all appear in good condition but I know that doesn't mean they aren't shot and I've had it up and looked at all ball joints/tre's.
When I had the top mounts off the were good too but them that was near two years ago

If you've had a look and there's nothing obvious, why not pay a few pounds (£30 max) to get an alignment done inc. print out.

Best case scenario you'll have dodgy toe settings and that'll be £30 problem solved. Medium case scenario it'll be something else, but at least you'll have a printout showing mental castor/camber/KPI one side. Worst case scenario print out will be fine and you've spent £30.

Tyre pressures, leaking rear shocks, snapped front springs are all free to check if you haven't already

The man speaks sense! I've checked front springs and rear and put new cup socks on last summer. Think I will have to find somewhere in Hereford that does decent alignment.
