Possible to have to good brakes?

Fitted up Monday, went out for a drive tonight.

It's totally dry and got PE2's fitted all running good PSI.

My front wheels lock alot and it's throwing the back end around alot!!

Am almost scared to use them :S

I've tried all braking options I know, it's like constant left foot braking!

Have you checked the discs and pads? They can get a bit grabby if there really low.

Be a bit lighter on the pedal i would suggest.

I had a hairy moment at a round about tonight with wheels locking up, bags of smoke to hide my self in tho!!

Yes there is lol, My rally car has them and on rally slicks it lifts the rear wheels under hard braking, Very scary. Im looking into removing the servo as the brakes are far to light to have any control over them.

Mine seem to be either on or off, as said my back end is all over in straight line braking.

Might be worth getting them bled? Dunno if it'll help but if discs and pads are okay then it's all i can think of!

Fully bled the system with Mutol 5.1 Race fluid.

when i first fitted my rc5's they locked the wheels just by mentioning the word brake. they just needed some bedding in. how long have they been on? have many miles etc?

on since monday, maybe 50 miles.

Hope they change, they simply just want to rip my face off from the word go.

Its likely that the brakes havent bedded in yet. A lot of the high performance brakes need a rigorous bedding in period before they work properly. I've had DS2500 pads on the front of my Clio 172 and there are very specific instructions about bedding them in properly when they are first fitted to the car. I've jusy bought a new set of HC Brembo discs and another set of DS2500 pads to go on the front from K-Tec Racing. I've not had them fitted yet but will do next week.
