just out of interest, are all engines like this? If not why did renault do it for this engine? Also, what happens if you break your rocker cover, can't buy a replacement from renault?!

cam bearing caps are always matched to the head, just on the F4R they're built into the rocker cover

Yes I do know, can be honed to match though. Was going to get it done myself, but I now have a few issues to contend with so don't have the time.
