Whats the cost of a new cam then Fartherted? Is it the same as the timing belt? if so its been done. How longs the chip take to put in and tune etc. Whats gains would i be looking at?
they are not linear, they are rising rate regulators which work of manifold pressure differential. They have an adj base line pressure and they havea large diaphram to respond better to vacuum changes.Quote: Originally posted by papa? on 09 May 2003
Power boost valves are just higher preasure fuel regulators. They just feed the fuel rail with a constant preasure of fuel that helps iron out and dead spots in the rev range - no real power increase... more throttle responce. They need to be setup properly on a RR to get the best out of em.
