where is the best place to run a power cable through the car to power an amp??? do i have to drill a hole??? or is there a hole i can feed it through??? and where is best place to take the negative to from the amp?????
There is a hole on the passenger side bulk head (when viewed from the engine bay) which feeds through to inside the car directly behind the glovebox. Your alarm cabling should already use it. Stick your head up and you should see it.
Negative earth: Im sure there will be a hole already drilled somewhere in the boot - Ypu could trace the wiring for the rear lights? or where the existing rear speakers earth terminates.
reach rihgt up under the passenger dash, behind the fuse bx, there is a grommet, about 50mm, i will post a pic of it from the engine bay if you want dude, just cut a hole in the plastic grommet, and feed the cable throiugh
Here is a pic of the grommet from the engine, quite hard to find if you dont know where to look.
Position of grommet is shown on diagram, reach up under there, and its on the bulkhead going inot the car, if you crouch down and put your head by the top of the engine you can just see it, didnt manage to capture it in the photo
