Power dying down on hard cornering?

Car  172
Hi, i've noticed if I enter a corner hard with my foot down it's as if it's holding back a bit when the car is really gripping in the corner then returns when I exit.. Is this normal clio behavoiur?

It's not wheel spin and i dont have traction control either, so was just wondering what it could be?

I had a talk to the previous owner earlier and he said the clio I had now had lots of issues so he sold it a month on... he said every thing under the bonnet is pretty much new, like sensors and TB etc..

He said the problem it had was when he used to go on a fast country drive the car would go into limp mode, now I've never experienced that, just this issue which could be related?

He also said if it drives well now it's likely they have fixed the issue though. Are there any clio drivers that can give it a quick test? :D

The only thing I can suggest is a short in the loom somewhere, and under hard cornering something is making and breaking contact.

never really tested it on a full tank, what should I be looking for?

the loom looks spot on but i'll have another look tomorrow.
