Basically zero I'd say mate.
Maybe get a couple from the filter with cold air feed but I'd say that's aboutit.
It may feel quicker with them fitted but more than likely to be a placebo affect (ie. not actually any quicker but just feels it cos of the better noise etc)

dont even bother. just dont bother. stick with a good pannel filter, i had a k&n and it made a difference. i switched back to the cardboard one before i sold it and it got even slower than it already was lol.
point is. save for somehitng better. i decided to go for another 1.2 because 45mpg with a 50mpg+++ when cruising is rarther satisfying lol. but whats stopping you going for a 1.4 or a 1.6. they have a fair bit of grunt behind them.
had a peco on my RSi, made a lovely noise =] worth the buy.
but as rest of people said leave the 1.2 alone and bite the bullet and get a 172. insurance isnt that much and you seem to be spending far to much money atm on utter rubbish =]
i'd go:
* induction kit
* cat back stealth exhaust
thats it, made a massive difference on mine.
as for power gains, with the right stuff it is possible to see upto 10bhp, iirc middo was succesful doing this!
So is it more noise than power?..
So is it more noise than power?..
basically yeah. think about how much all this will cost, £300-400+ for a decent exhaust, £50-100 decat, £30-300 for filter (depends on how mental you go, like Maxogen for example)... already thats a fair chunk of money. Just enjoy the car as it is mate, then when you can insure something quicker then get that. Only reason I mod my car is because you can see some gains, but even then, for what you spend it's not great always and that's on a 2.0
Waste of time, silly backbox will just make it sound s**te, IK with CAF we could argue all day some people claim it makes a difference others don't. The gains would also be so small they wouldn't show up on a rolling road.
Basically your not going to get any gains for £75
If you want to make your car go faster, strip it out, and its free too.
