power loss on start up. ph1 172

every now and then when i start the car up and try to drive off it loses all power, literally i can have foot to the floor and itl just burble off beat ..if i stop and wait a few seconds it goes back to normal and i can drive off.

any idea what this may be? thrs also a slight miss fire on idle all the time.

When mine cold it sometimes starts then looses power, so I have to start it again, I don't worry about it though.

just run it for 5 mins before you go out

Mine has a flat spot at around 2.8K when first started once warmed up a bit it pulls nice and smootly. The 1*2's run realy poorly on startup. Maybe a remap would help.

Checked your spark plugs, leads etc lately?

Mine did a similar thing where it would not maintain idle after starting and the engine would stall. It was a combination of a dodgy water temp sensor and leaking O-rings on the fuel pipe to fuel rail connection.
