power steering leak,

last night my car left some fluid on the driveway, the exhaust that was on the car had comes loose, today i have had fitted my ktec stealth and decat, looking at the leak it looks like its the metal pipe that runs beside that cat on NSF, the metal pipe looks to be cracked,

im wondering if anyone else had had this problem and if so how did they solve it im thinking of welding the pipe or trying to bodge it as i imagine the pipe is a nightmare to replace,


any experiences/help would be great ?

do a quick search, there's a company (pirtech??????) that can make you one for a third the price of renault. they can also make it in two sections for ease of fitting. if it's that same pipe, it's apparently a nightmare to get out. this is all assuming i'm talking about the same pipe, where does the pipe go to?

im not sure but its runs next to the cat up towards the rack iirc

left hand side of downpipe, comes close to exhaust where it joins manifold, its not cracked its actually rubbed through and worn a hole in the metal pipe, ive tried quicksttel to cover it and that has not worked, any other ideas ?

i think im going to try a liquid metal resin instead of a putty, then if all fails ill have to get it welded, i take it yours was worn due to the same reason ?
