Power Steering Pump

Due to get my valver back today from the garage and theyre bleating about the pump being noisy but i cant afford to change it right now so....

Is there anything i can do to quieten it down in the meantime (mechanical or fluid wise)??

I had mine serviced by a power steering specialists, dont know what they did, but its dead quite now.

Sounds bloody handy! Im having my power steering fixed at the mo, liquid pissing out from a pipe somewhere

Did a search a few mins ago - apparently a few people on here have used comma/slick 50 power steering conditioner/additive

...dunno if this is any use....

Dont know the name of the company unfortunately, my local garage sorted it out. All I know is that they are in Greenwich, South London.

try Slick 50 Power Steering Fluid...........its not an additive as such, its a normal fluid

available from any Motor World store...
