Power steering whine

Recently fitted my cup alternator setup and my power steering is now whining slightly on idle and noticeably so when turning the wheel.

Sounds like a mini power steering.

Could this be down to the belt being to tight?

Sounds like it is low on fluid or needs bled. It is cavitating either way.

Thanks. I've took it for a drive and its quite new down. Probably an airlock.

What's the correct method to bleed the ps?

Cap off, and lock to lock. Stopping at each lock for a few seconds whilst holding it on lock.

Repeat until no more air escapes
