Powerflow Midsection

Hi All,

Ive got a powerflow decat exhaust on my 172 cup. Its not that loud as i would like to be honest. There is a midesection box provided on the exhaust, will getting a straight pipe put through make a difference in sound? if yes what will i notice? any pops? Ive been quoted £40.00 to have this changed.

My powerflow on my Williams was loud as f**k and had a centerbox... assuming the backbox is the problem?

The backbox was loud when it was stealth. Unfortunatly the stealth melted my bumper and i had a tailpipe put on and it wasnt loud anymore. I thought the decat would cure this but hasnt. would the midsection box make any difference?

will make a bit of difference, but I'd have thought it was the backbox restricting the noise... is it well baffled?

i believe it is the back box. what sort of price do you think i am looking at for this to be altered to the sound i want?

well if it's anything like the one on my Williams you can just remove the baffles, or blow them out with pops and flames like I did lol

I ve got a powerflow stealth back box that i took off my cup a while back if you need a new one !
