pre cat lambda sensor

  Clio 1.4 RT
hey all ;)
how long does a 2nd hand pre cat lambda sensor to bed?? In i had a problem where it felt like took my foot off gas when i got up to speed (50mph). I just had a MOT it failed on emissions so i changed the sensor from a scrap car and it drove great for a few weeks and the problem has come back any ideas??

Using a 2nd. hand sensor is not a good idea, they do have a finite life and are recommended to be changed 80k. to 100k miles. New Bosch sensors are available from Euro Car Parts for a lot less than a Main Dealer. Also I don't think your problem is to do with the Lambda sensor, it sounds like ignition or timing problem.
