Pre-Telephone Equipment/Smartnav

Can any of you tell me what Pre-Telephone Equipment consists of ? I have ordered it for my new 182 despite the salesman not knowing what it consisted of. I will probably be getting a Smartnav system as a neat way of providing both occasional navigation help and fixed camera warnings. Will the Pre-Telephone Equipment mean that the fitters can avoid ripping my dashboard apart ?

it basically means all the wiring is in place so a renault phonekit will just plug straight in.

Thanks Jay172, I guessed as much. My point is that Smartnav is based around a mobile phone system - hence my question.

Does anybody here have a Smartnav system or know what fitting they require, and therefore what wiring could be saved by the pre-kit ? or are Renault the only people who would plug a hands free system into their extra loom ?
