Pre-Washes

Right im on the look out for a new pre-wash to use.

Thinking something along the lines of a citrus TFR type that can be applied by my shitty poundland pump sprayer.


Chemical Guys Extreme Strongwash or similar.

I noticed GUNS (aka Arch Gap) mentioned something about about Zest pre spray WTF is that then???

I tend to use Megs APC at the minute but looking for something a little bit more then for "general use".

Also need to try some new wheel cleaner. Still have a 1L bottle of bilberry and some Autobrite Very Cherry.

Contemplating getting some foul smelling eggy fart product (aka Iron-X) or wolfs??

Hazsafe is very very good mate.

The zest stuff I used is from James at Auto Finesse, google them mate. Very good products.

Two different types of pre-wash though dude. I like zest but you could buy 5 ltrs of hazsafe for the same price dude. Just my 2p.

I love pre-sprays.

Just finding using megs APC is not doing much. Auto finesse is what I thought u were on about. I don't have a local AS rep. Nearest one is Norwich and fcuked if I'm travelling up or letting them y fingered freaks anyway near me!

I use a hazsafe/shampoo plus combo as a snow foam. Brilliant results.

Not sure what caustic means, but it sounds decent LOL.

Does it remove sealants and protection on the car? Got s**t loads of flies and bugs on car from a long journey, need softening up before using snowfoam I think.

If you use it at a sensible dialution you'll be ok. It'll soften up bugs etc.

Seriously, just use G101. It cuts through anything, just don't let it dry!

It's all I use now for wheels, arches, tyres and pre rinses. It eats through dead insects too.

I would mate it, if I were a liquid chemical with the horn. Sometimes I wash my FS with it too, especially if I've been out with a Cannock girl.
