  200 Ultra Red
Been quoted £60 from someone I know at renault to fit my new apex springs, just wanting some confirmation that this is a good price?

Cheers.

Not sure.. i fitted my own. Are you near any of the experts on here ?

Would not use renault unless nessessary.

that sounds good to me. mine cost £90 using laser allignment technology, so 60 sounds a good price, especially if renault are doing them

Not sure if i'm near anyone, just worried about all this talk about needing professional spring compression tools?

£60 a bit steap realy people on here will do it for less.
Where about are you?

£90 is the price Demon Tweeks charge to fit and setup Coilovers which are much more complex realy. Plus there a proper garage as such.

Idealy you should use spring compressors but if you know what to expect/do theres no need. if its your first time use them yep.

Springs compressors are only £15 from halfords etc.

I didnt use spring compressors on my 'non-cup' suspension when i did it for the 1st time lol.

It was a race to get the nut on before the damper lowered while pushing like hell lol.

182 and 172 don't need spring compressor the springs are under any load realy.
DT only take 90 quid to fit and set up coilovers? what is inc in the set up?
Height and camber setup.

I was told this about the 182, but it would have been 10 times easier with it edde.

The springs would not go below the damper unless i raised the damper, and got the nut on in less then 3 seconds while pushing the spring down hard lol

TBH, dont know if i did it the right way but its done and is spot on.

Yep thats the right way there not under much load hence you can comprees them enough to get the nut on.

Good, Thanks.

I got a bit of a fright when i could not do it for the first few times. Thinking i would have to put both sides suspension in again and go buy some comps.

So i take it, unless your superman you cant do the same to a non sport.

You can do it just need to push them down more (its not a good idea though doing spring chnages without compressors just as people know you don't need them.)
