Pro Detailer

  Golf 7.5R & Clio 200
Hi,

Towards the end of April I am planning on getting a correction details done on my 200. I'm budgeting around £400 - £500 for this, I have had a look through the detailing world site at their traders, and found somewhere in Kent that looks pretty good. But I have some questions, they offer 'extras' for more money ofc.

Things like, upgrading to a higher quality wax, or extra layers, glass treatment etc.

What would you recommend getting done by a pro? Must be £500ish or less. Or am I just dreaming for that budget?

People I like the look of are KDS http://www.kdskeltec.co.uk/price-menu/paint-correction-packages

Heard any good reviews?

Thanks
Ry

EDIT: Also, is the 200 Small or Medium in your opinion?

Kds is likely be one of the more expensive detailers I beleive.

Isnt one of the traders on here from southend?

Look to pay extra for bits you can't do yourself. 're waxing you can do with your own wax. What I would recomend if you are paying to have all this done, is get your wash routine right so you can keep it looking at its best.

Im pretty happy with my wash routine, I'm just not confident enough with a DA let alone a Rotary. So would rather pay someone to do it right.

I actually had a look through the traders on here the other day, will have another look through. Cheers

The only detailer i'd ever use is Jim @ White details. Yes it's miles away but i'd trailer the car back so it would get home in perfect condition! lol

Kelly @ KDS is one of if not the best in the UK on current form. I don't know what you'd get for £500, I suspect probably an enhancement? Which tbh, for an every day car is ideal - because even with full correction and the strictest of wash routines you can never keep paintwork 100%. So unless it is a weekend or show car, an enhancement which if like mine will achieve 80/85% correction then that is money well spent IMO.

If you choose the correct ceramic coating and then learn the proper wash routine it's very easy to keep a car looking tip top.

I've seen cars looking immense after a year of using ONR to wash!

All booked in for beginning of May for an Enhancement 2/3 day detail with Chris at DetailMe :) Top bloke too, said he's happy to show me how to properly use a DA/Rotary on a scrap panel, really looking forward to it!
