Pro Evo 7, 3 times better on the PS3...

  182 RB FF
A supposed Konami insider has posted claims on a Korean games forum that the upcoming Pro Evolution Soccer 2007 will be noticeably better on PS3 than on 360.

The post, which appeared on Ruliweb, claims that the PS3 version of everybody's favourite footy sim will receive huge enhancements afforded by the large capacity of the Blu-Ray format.

The game is said to use 18GB of space on the disc (Xbox 360's dual-layer DVDs offer 7GBs of usable storage space).

The post also claims that the PS3 version's 60fps frame-rate will better that of the 360.

We remain sceptical that the difference, if there is any, will be noticeable. Time will tell.

As long as they sort out the option file this time - cant believe the 360 didnt have the ability to change team names and players etc like the ps2!

they will be the same, it will be made on one and ported to the other, they wont make seperate games for each console as it would never get released in time.

As long as I can save every replay of brilliant goals. Pain in the arse on PS2 deciding....

"Is that one really better than that one?"

To save space. lol

Thats because PES6 was never designed with the PS3 in mind. Obviously with Sony's involvement within football they want PES to showcase a killer game with a BIG following of loyal series fans.

Personally I couldn't give a monkeys what the 360 version is like, better or not I own a PS3 and I'd not buy a 360 just for one game. The same will be said for those who own a 360 about the PS3 version. The only relevance this has are to those of us with trully too much time on our hands that own both a 360 and a PS3.

Well look a PE6.

The Ps2 version is way way better.

better than what, the PS3 version? lol

played both and the PS2 one is complete, but it plays no where near as good as the 360 imo, passing and player movement off the ball is no where near as good... in fact it's pretty much the same game as PES5 without all the ref stoppages for BS tackles

From AVF:

Pro Evo finally scores equaliser with licences

"According to retail store Game, the next Pro Evo (pro evolution soccer 7) has finally cancelled out Fifa's trump card - Licences.

The store manager showed me the documnet which they recieve to push pre orders, showing information on the biggest games upcoming in 2007.

Among reading through i come to Pro Evo and the following was on there,

All international teams fully licence, F.A premier League licence, German League licence and international cup competitions licenced.

it also stated the its was to be released on Wii, PSP, DS, 360, ps2, PC and PS3. strangely the PS3 version was listed as Pro Evolution Soccer 7 '1st team edition' and had alot more features and modes listed than any other version.

Quick note, there was no Metal gear solid 4 scheduled, HALO 3 was down for September 26th, Heavenly sword was down for Sep 26th."

Since EA have exclusive rights to the Premiership i cant really see this article being 100% true, possible that game got some facts wrong or are just trying to push more preorders. who know, all will become clear in the next couple of days when Winning Eleven info for the PS3 is released.
