Problem finding new RST 97+ file

  172 cup
Hi done a quick search with no answer.

I'm ip to the point of loading my new 97+ file but when I select write ecu the files open on my computer but all my files are empty? It's like it's opened a different part of my laptop. I'm using windows 8.1

Becoming very frustrating as I'm so close! Anyone help me here?

Can it find your backup files? Definitely pointed to the right folder?

Remember -

write ECU - is for updating the ECU firmware. e.g. RSTuner_8200_7804_OEM.rst
write cal - is for installing the 97 rom map file. e.g. RST_E_3676_Clio_182_8200_7804_F4R738_Stage_1_RON97 _0613.cal

Did you get the files from Henk?
Yes I did and am currently in email with him. I was under the impression the map codes are different. Obviously looking for the performance map for mine. I'm told the Nrs should be the same. It's all new to me and as much as I read into it the more it's confusing at times. Or I'm just plain stupid!!

He should send you two files with instructions, one for the ecu, one for the Cal.

i was sent a .cal file and instruction (PDF)
Its all loaded now. The code need to be the same. Been for a quick drive idles at 950/1000 rpm. Lost the 5k kick. So im guessing its all right. Dont know if theres really any power difference as ive not had the car long enough to be used to the standard map. Still enjoyable to drive anyway. Thanks for all your replies Amos91

Super charger im now thinking........
