problem fitting coilovers (front) help needed.

after iv put everything together i dont think there is enough sticking out the top of the top mount.

this is how it looks

where am i going wrong???

but is it ok that the centre part wont come any further through the top of the top mount?

Looks ok to me, as long as you have enough thread left on the strut top to get the top hat back on (as you have in photo) you are ok.

how would i then get something on the strut top to crack them off next time i need them off though?

Or if you leave the car on the ground an crack it off before you jack it up they sometimes come undone or like danny said an impact gun will buzz um off
