hey all, my dad was driving to work this morning in his 1.9TD Scenic (1998 R plate btw) when the car just sort of stopped and wouldnt go any quicker than 10mph. he said he could press the accelorator all the way down and the car would just sit at 10mph and run at slightly higher revs than it idles at. he reckons it fuel filter ot the we control thing down at the accelorator pedal. he turned the ignitiom off and started again and it hasnt missed a beat since then. has anyone else experienced this and if so what was the cause? he's gonna call reno tomorrow anyway for their advice.
