Problem Starting since SERV Light lit up!

On the way to work this morning my SERV light lit up, along with the ABS and traction control lights. Got to work no problems

Tried to start my car after work, it started, then cut out.

Repeated this this again, same... then third attempt it wouldn't start at all.

After about 5 minutes of trying, the car started, with no lights on the dash indicating a problem, although the car smelt quite strongly of petrol!

Managed to get it home no problems, and will start up fine now.

Any suggestions anybody, i'm at a loss!

I had exactly the same thing happen to me yesterday.
Was driving home from work and my lights came on, even though it was a bright afternoon.
Then my SERV, ABS and Traction Control lights all lit up.
Got home, switched off my engine for a minute then started it up again.

Started first time and seems fine this morning.

Got it booked in for a service in 2 weeks, I'll ask them to look into it then.
Until then I think I'll have to cross my fingers !!!
