problem with engine

not a clio but hey most engines r tha same

When ever I put the cluth in or put the car into neutral it revs da f**k out itself specilaly wen im slowing down.

Also wen i stop it is idling irregualy and sumtimes cuts out even when im coming to a stop

Also seems to be drinking petrol asif its a yank mota

p.s it is a ford ka but please no jokes lol

iv got similar problems, road speed sensor on the speedo cable is the cause of mine I think! Gonna change it today...!

but it could also be idle speed control valve.

Known problem I think!

Take it to a Ford dealer.. My mate had the same problem, they fixed it free of charge.. (if it is the same problem as he had!).
