problems already

only 2 days on road and already the alarm is playing up on setting, has anyone else had probs with theres??renault assist dont even have renaultsport models listed on their computers- dead handy that!!

Check the connectors on the bonnet. Also make sure the air vents arnt pointed at the sensors or open.

The alarms can be very sensative its a common problem Renault have a fix just to swop the wires over to drop the sensitivity down.

checked the wires on the switch under bonnet- no problem, problem seems to be if i lock the car on the fob in normal manner it buzzes for about a minute then arms but goes off about 5-10 mins late, if i de-activate the ultrasonics via ignition switch and then lock car on fob it is fine. although i do have the air vents switched to the screen, do you really think it will make much of a diference??

It might do, the sensors are way to sensitive as normal Renault will under warently swop the wire of the sensor round to the sensitivity is reduced.

Most Clios with alarms have had this problem.
