Problems with not being able to get through, unlocked 3G

Having problems with things coming through on my iPhone (unlocked to Vodafone).

I have read up on t'internet and also found some useful advice on setting up call forwarding, thought I would share it with you all since there is no option to do this on the phone??;

**67*[divert number]*# -- when busy
**61*[divert number]*# -- when not reachable
**62*[divert number]*# -- when switched off
**21*[divert number]*# -- divert all calls(did not test this)

I can call out but noone can reach me Just goes straight to voice mail

You switched your phone off and back on?

May have got its software in a twist and is not not doing periodical location updates. Dont know what your nw do but ours is set at every 4 hours. Can you make og calls?

Otherwise may be a call forward always set up??

Try locking to 2g and see what that does?

Can you get texts?

Managed to sort this over the weekend, but thanks for the reply lad. No idea why the phone did this, but third Unlock and Jail break later and it's all working and receiving.
