i was driving along on sat evening when i put the car into 4th gear and put down the accelerator and nothing happened, the car just revved to cut out and was slowing down. Put into every gear and the car just slowed down. It was as if the car wasnt recognising it was in gear.
Anyway i pulled in and had to get the car towed away. Renault got it this morning and have told me that some pump and the diff has gone in the car.
I didnt even know that a 1.2 clio had a diff.
anyone else have this problem or know if they actually have a diff
