Depends on the level of correction your friend is able to achieve? Do you need any filing products?

With regards to your LSP, do you prefer wax or sealants? What's your budget

Black isn't an easy puck for Lsp unless it's a show or Summer and you have BOS to hand.

Agree with Dave. Z2/Z6/Z8. Simply superb product which deliver.

If he's missing the whole waxing thing then you're looking at a middle of the road wax. £50 maybe? Hard void to fill.

Zymol Carbon.

Needs to decide if he wants durability and looks or just looks. :)

Dave when you selling desire?

Id be willing to spend a little more than £50 for a decent wax etc that will last a fair amount of time..

Lols! That wasn't the question.

I think because you say keep it looking nice and shiny Zaino is definitely for you. Wipe downs of Z6/Z8 boost gloss and shine like no QD/Wipedown products I know off.

See my recent thread for pics of a Z6 wipedown and no other products.

I rated Petes 53 on mine, and it smells soooo good. Not very durable though, more of a summer wax imo

Zaino Research it first. If you want something different. Like a spray sealant. Ie Werkstat, research it.

Lots of amazing waxes out there.

Zymol Glasur.. Id be willing to stretch to that if its a decent enough wax..

For the price I assume it is

I cant stress how good Bouncers 22 is atm. Its cheaper than most competitors but then again its a smaller pot. I haven't worked out the £/oZ.

The reflective properties are just insane.

I've just finished a silver car:
Prime strong - brought out the flake, looks great
2 x tough coat - again, clarity, looks great
B22 - BOOM! suddenly the finish is glassy and really reflective. I couldn't believe my eyes!

I know yours is black but the fact it had such an effect on silver which is generally considered to be harder to get dramatic results from speaks volumes.
I'll be trying it on Nighthawk black next, after seeing Bouncer's GTR reflections on DW.

Well there you go. Can't beat personal experience.

I don't think you need Glasur mate. Z2 is actually a great base for any waxes.

If it was me:

Prime acrylic/strong -> Prima Amigo -> Bouncers -> Wipedown with something like Glos/ carnauba spritz / Britemax #6 etc.

B22 is a doddle to use, but it has a quick flash time, so you dont want to do more than half a bonnet sized at a time. The wipedown/QD will help remove any hazing if you get a bit cocky and and it cakes on. The spray will help prolong the looks/protection after washing too.

Dodo Born To Be Mild is the shampoo you should be looking at too.

After polishing, Prima Amigo via machine on a finishing pad.

Protection? I'm not sure. Bouncers obviously comes highly rated. Have a look at Zaino see if you like the idea.

Man I need to get back in the detailing lingo, half of those names there I've never heard of, although tbh I've never bothered correcting/detailing in a while, now I've got the BG 182 its got to be a must before FCS
