well after selling my old 172, PROJECT 172 ive looked about and looked about and well couldnt really find anything to replace it (i sold it as i fancied a change, was 99% set on an R32 GTR skyline, Impreza STi v8 or Evo 7) but nothing ever came of the plans, plus i decided i didnt really fancy getting back in debt after just getting myself clear so when this popped up i thought why not!...
Booked 2 tickets on the train down to Darlington to view it / pick it up, was more than happy with it 72k miles, full service history, belts done, Pilot Exaltos all round, set of uprated springs, cat back magnex 2.5" exhaust system really tidy clean car, only bad bits were few scuffs on the front bumper and the usual steering wheel issues not a bit deal, after taking it a spin to give it the all clear it was mine!
got it up the road and gave it a clean and popped out with my mate in his 106 rallye for some pics...
The day after the magnex that i was planning on replacing in the near future decided to fall off, so threw it in the back of the garage and ordered ANOTHER K-Tec Stealth, fitted it today and i must say even although ive had one before it still impresses me how well these systems fit the clio, top job, and due to this one not having a decat like the last one i had, what a nice quiet system it is around town and a nice noise when going for it (can still hear the engine when your going for it which is nice)
i dont plan to spend to much on this one just give it a tidy up and replace the steering wheel, maby some matched inlets and a remap and some suspension work and some better brakes but we all know what im like it will probably end up supercharged!
thats all for now..
