project stealth 172

Thought it was about time i got some pics of my car up and got some opinions from people who know what they're talking about ;)

I bought my renaultsport clio 172 in April 08 with 45k miles on the clock.

The first thing i done was fitted a Simota carbon fibre enclosed induction kit which has added a very deep throaty tone

I then upgraded ALL the speakers as i found the standard renault items to be a bit cheap and bad quality, i now have SPL speakers all round which has really improved the tunes

Then came a rear OMP strut brace and random fire extinguisher, the brace was originally red but i had it colour coded (pearl black)

After this i had to start on colour coding the engine bay! First up was to paint the inlet manifold and fuel rail guard, after many colour combinations i've decided on the yellow with black lettering. Next job was to order up a front upper OMP strut brace which i also had colour coded (pb), to contrast the yellow the engine cover was then colour coded to the strut braces and car paintwork...

The front diamond badge was next to undergo the colour coding treatment..

thanks for the positive comments soo far
still lots i wanna do to it but time and money are hard to find recently

if you want your wheels powdercoated, there is a place near me that does all four for 64 quid. work is exceptional too!

this is mine

davesport172- yours look exactly how i want mine but with a yellow diamond. Although i'm currently looking at grooved brake discs so may fancy some team dynamics 1.2s to show the discs and aid cooling.

Leeds_182- already got the silver visions, coilovers and some form of splitter are definately high on the priority list though.

A citroen C2 aerial has also been fitted since these pictures were uploaded.

looks nice. i would remove the strut brace and extinguisher tho (just personal choice as they do nothing). i would also go back to the standard airbox.
i would look into getting black wheels (2118's, team dynamics 1.2's or 2's, ultraleggeras... etc). i would also stick a cup spoiler and splitter on there. then sportlines or coilovers.

i think some 1.2s would look the nuts on that car then a cup spoiler and then save your self some money and get a megane splitter:

you need 2 send me some pics of your car lowerd realy wana see what it looks like
I need to take some! I'll do it tomorrow maybe on my day off if I cba washing it :)

:S i really can't decide :S

i can feel a photoshop request for both sets of wheels coming on. lol
I'll do it later if nobody else has :)

There's a guy on here who has a black 172 with black standard wheels, can't remember his name though - might be worth a search in the Clio Media section.

any chance of a photoshop please?

standard alloys in gloss black with yellow diamond and then with

gloss black team dynamics 1.2

thanks in advance :star:

Yesterday i went to a local scrap yard and purchased 2 megane splitters, 1 large and 1 small. After trial fitting both and getting a few opinions i decided to fit the large deeper one-
