project ........well thats different

So the story so far goes that my mate bought a 5 door 1.2 mk1 clio.
its a bit late in the update process now I guess but still ah well, so it all started out completely standard. So far we have, fitted williams wings, williams front and put on a new rear bumper as the old one was totalled. otherwise we fitted some team dynamics pro race 1.2's and lowered 40mm on spax lowering shocks and springs. got the torsion bar done, dewipered oh and gave it a healthy dose of bass with a custom built box to house the twin vibe subs and the amp.

it got a bit darker at this point and my phone was starting to struggle with the light but this is as far as we got:

oh and a gratuitous shot of my 306 just for the hell of it:

all that is left to do now is a little more arch rolling on the rear, smooth over rub strips then a full respray in williams blue/ the similar blue that is used on the new zafiras (knowing people with full rigs and lots of paint = FTW hes gonna do both his clio and my 306 in the same colour for the cost of the paint which is around 130 including laquer)

yeah as i say we are still prepping it for paint and stuff like that so theres still things to do, need to get a hold of a mig welder at some point as all i have to hand is a sodding great agricultural oil immersed arc welder

i didnt manage to get pictures this evening but we did however spend ages fibreglassing over the ridge where the bump strips were (cue mega itchy hands) we also fitted a 16v bonnet with the big bulge and intake i keep trying to get him to get it sprayed in williams blue but he seems intent on some form of chavvy baby blue

Does he need a 5 door or was it just cos it was cheap?? Looks like it will be quite tidy when completed though
