Ha yeah plan was to paint the drums and calipers though hence reason for the big anal clean but rain stopped play =[

Good work with the cleaning, not so good work with the sandles :dead: trainers or pumps FTW (in this weather too!)

Good job, Is there any way you can tighten up the rear drums brake shoes, whilst the rear drum is off? So the handbreak works better?

I think the exhaust needs to come out to do it :(

Yes mate, take the drums off, and you can see the pistons that push the shoe's into the drum? (see the pic)
there is a little ring there that will click over (spinning it towards you)
just rotate that and keep offering the drum up untill it's a tight fit.
then attatch drum and your away.

Is there no guide for this? as i could do a more detailed one if needs be...

Oh and no by big anal clean i did not mean i went for a colonic irrigation. Lol

Nice job! I done mine 2 weeks ago while the wheels were off to paint the calipers. They don't stay clean for long though :(

Cheers for the explination mate. Seems fairly easy. I might have a crack at it some time.

And yeah a guide would be very helpfull to make sure everything is done right. I dont think there is one already.
