Hi All
Noob here, after seeinig the kango for sale on ebay I joined the site to read the thread on the build. Once I had read it I knew I had to have it.. Not sure what its worth but I know the labour charge would of probably be more than I got it for.
Just drove it 90 miles back home with a huge smile on my face.
All I can say is, its super quick and corners like its on rails.. I think it could be as much fun maybe more than my Z4 Alpina..
I don't know much about anything so any ideas what I can do next would be very welcome.
Big Thanks to Ash for a brillantly built van..

Thanks for the warm welcome guys, just showed the lads my new acquisition and after scratching their heads I started it up and lifted the bonnet.. Then they understood :)

ITB?? I need to find a good local mechanic, either that or get my hands dirty and jump in the deep end.

Itb is individual throttle bodys - awesome drivability and a nice power gain but bhp per £ not the best mod you can do especially when you need to fit cams to get the most out it.

Turbocharge or supercharge would be my route :)

Ill let you know, Ive only driven it down motorway.. Havent had chance to tax it as Ive been busy... Bloody Work :)

If I didn't already have 6 cars, i'd have bought it. Perfect for work, goes like stink and capable of doing track days!

Supercharger, I like the sound of that... Wonder what it would cost?

I was bidding but wasn't in a position to go over 2k for it, Mainly as I wouldn't want to drive it illegally insured so it would be silly money on insurance.

Great van though!

I was tempted too. I dont even need a van. Whats with the christmas tree dash though.

Not sure lol something to do with compatibility... Im assuming if Ash didnt fix it then it can't be sorted.. I stand to be corrected though..

Ash is a mate of mine, I would have bought this of Ash if I didn't have all my money tied up at the time - Love it

I'd love to put throttle bodies on it and take it on track days lol

I'd guess the dashboard lights are all on because it has no ABS etc.. and the ecu has gone a bit nuts
I have the same thing on mine because I have throttle bodies - I just took the dials apart and put black tape over them lol

I either drive a national grid van or a red Astra H. I've ha a few Renaultsport Clio's though you've made a good choice, well in the engine anyway.

I've just checked my Facebook for pictures in case I knew you lol.
