ps3 experts needed

i have been offered a ps3 and 7 games for £150, i want to tell what gigabite it is is there an easy way to tell (i havent had one before so not sure where to look) and does this price seem good? it comes with only one controller and thats about all i know

People get all caught up with gigabytes, if it's a 40gb one what difference does it make, if you fill a 40gb ps3 you need to get a social life, all imo of course.

Seems alright to me aslong as its not in crap condition.

GB dont really matter imo. I have an 80gb version and tbh I have only used a tiny proportion of that to install GT5 onto the harddrive (which isnt even an option for most games).

Just buy it at that price, can't go wrong. A blu-ray player costs the same new.

If its got the dualshock controller its probably a newer console.

The HDD can be upgraded easily if you need more storage space so I'd not worry about it.

im not worried what gig it is i just want to know how you can tell? and it seems cheap to me, some of the games i wont play so sell them and it will make it even cheaper

I <3 CS it's an addiction. Filling 40gb on your playstation takes some going especially if you own a laptop or Desktop!

Any for that money and the amount of games. Like you said, sell some on and make it cheaper.

how much would the consol be worth say its a bottom of the range 40 gig, its a year old?? would still be more than 150 wouldnt it?

If it has a gloss black finish and is the size of a Clio then it's the original full fat model.

I'd almost run dry on the 60gb, until I remembered to delete the files of loads of old games

If its only a year old, then it wont be the 60gb iirc. My PS3 is 2 years old now, and they had stopped making them at that point. I had to go for the 80gb.

It's easy to fill the hard drive a lot of games install 2-8gb straight away. If you plan on using playtv that takes up a lot of memory too.
