Just got back from the states where the playstation 3 has come out. Had a little go on one in the shop and the graphics were very good. I played fight night and i would say it was as good graphically as the xbox 360. Just have to wait and see for other games, and for the price to go down!

so its pretty s**t then, if you are paying that money for those specs and its as good gd as a 1yr+ old console?

It's the blu-ray capability that bumps it up so much, just as the HD-DVD drive bumps up the cost of the 360 considerably.

When all's said and done there isn't much diff price wise when maxed out

As a games machine, the PS3 is a year old too, the only difference is it was mothballed for a year as they couldnt get BlueRay to work properly on it!!
