Its just getting a 4K 60 patch. That's all. A game I still don't understand where all it's praise comes from. Tis pretty dreadful with no likeable characters.

Have you got a good TV? Without one you won't see any visual different from my experience. I'm still using a 1080 TV and hardly notice any difference from the PS4 on Warzone.
Load times are better, obviously. Exports videos at 1080 instead of 720 for YouTube etc.

Oh and I am laughing at myself for spunking £500 on a ps5 and extra controller to play a PS4 game on it.
There's no games that I'm actually looking forward to for the 5 I don't think. Didn't like Horizon on the 4 so won't play that. Was hoping a new Kill Zone would come out but unlikely. BF6 should look good on it.

If I didn't fall bloody lucky when I got mine I wouldn't even be bothering tbh.

I been following a YT channel who streams Live for the PS5 drops for a couple months now it's called MSTV. And all that time i've been unsucessful on every drop or pottential drop, Up untill yesterday. I was kept refreshing the page and i was in before the alarm went off in the stream by a few seconds with 1,100 people watching the stream plus how many was on the webiste and by then was in checkout and everyone was saying I'm in a que or what ever else.

I sold my PS4 Pro back in October / November and managed to borrow my nephews PS4 for about 6 weeks around xmas time and been stuck without one since.

I'll be using my PC monitor for the PS5 it's a Asus PB277Q iirc, 27" 75hz 1440p 1ms display. It will do me for another year till more suitable ones come out.

I'll be defo playing some PS5 titles, inc Astrobot, Demon Souls, i know God of War is getting an upgrade and Last of Us Part 2, Bugsnax looks canny. Obviously i'll be playing GT and Battlefield until the new ones come out in the future. I know you can get Demon Souls for around £40 now new and still sealed on ebay.

Just been in the queue on ShopTo, got in and could easily have bought one but I’m not paying £600 for an extra controller and two shitty games. It was the only thing available.

Few weeks back ShopTo were doing PreOrders on their website and we were talking about it on the stream as it just popped up and we were quizzing it as never seen them do it before. I was just browsing on their bundles and that, you couldn't add it to checkout at that point as they werent available as it was just advertised on their site. I think it was Pathless and another game which was a better one. I was still unsure of ShopTo as im new to it as there's still people say on the stream is it a Legit company. Anywayi backed out fomr their site for a short while and later that day all hell broke loose as they went live and i wasn't too sure what to get as console on it's own was all gone and was too late on the others as yourself wasnt bothered about the games. But now i should of bought whatever was left and sold the other bits.

I just got email from Game , it's getting packed and payment has been taken out. So the ball is rolling now

Think I am going to give up trying to get a ps5. Had one in my basket yesterday on Game , went through to check out then the site crashed and couldn’t get back in.
Today I was on shopto again had the list of consoles, then again the site fell over. When I went back on they had introduced the queue and I was number 4800. They had sold out long before I even got close.

Untill I can just click and add one to my basket or walk into a shop I’m done.

@BIFCAIDS Yeah, i bought a PSN+ membership begining of this year and i said way over £10 iirc. Defo be using them again and poss some games.

Before when i was searching one, Amazon were the worst company to get a order from them. Very very few from the stream i was on managed to get one, way less than the other company's like. Amazon don't have anything in place for Bots or Scalpers like.

Ideally it's best to get one from a company if they offer Collect rather than Delivery, providing you get that option when come to order one.

I looked on Twitter this morning and PlayStation sent a tweet about the Dual Sense comtroller and loads and loads of people replied back saying there are having issues with it for e.g Drifting where you not holding the sticks and it'll move by itself and also problems with the triggers like the R2. Could be a wide spread issue. Plus other issues where the controller moves by itself with certain games.

It's a good job i ordered a console with a extra controller, see how things get on when i get it.

@Geddes I'm on mine constantly at the moment, but I've not got any of these issues. Maybe it's all the WAR ZONE 4LYF chimps, driving the analogue sticks into the casing of the pad and COD makes the most of the haptic feedback, so that would explain the R2 button issue.

I have however downloaded two of this months games, well I say downloaded they're in my library because I've already filled the f**king thing. Memory on these is absolutely abysmal, they knew games were going to be massive, with ever bigger updates, so why give them 667.2GB because it wasn't enough on the PS4.

The console is good don't get me wrong but mine does that stupid thing of spinning the disk up every 30mins to check it's still there and when I bought the console back on release day I thought it had killed itself as loading Cold War it would just boot down and then take a bit of time to reboot. I had to factory reset the thing and log into my Activision account on my phone rather than through the console. Absolute shambolic start to "Next Gen" ownership.

Is it bizarre they they didn’t up the storage and would like to find out why. I was shocked when they released information that it would be 825 or whatever it was. The PS4 Pro has 1TB and maybe Sony did this for a reason to sell the external storage. And yeah most likely it will be about half the price of the console and hopefully the warranty won’t be just the 1 year, 2 or 3 years will be great.

What’s the average of these hard drives last?

My launch day PS4 is still going strong, just needs cleaning out every now and then to stop the build up of dust. Not sure what the warranty is on the ps5 TBH.

Lovely combo that is mate!

But yep, the TV has Optical out and the receiver has 2 x Optical in's. So all you need is an optical cable from Amazon and plug straight from the TV to the AVR. Then set your AVR to TV mode or whatever the setting is and anything displayed on the TV will then output 5.1 to the AVR (as long as the show/app supports it which it will). You might need to change your TV audio settings on the menu to optical out too but to be fair you won't need to change it back as you can just use the PS5 for everything
