whats the best psi to put in a 204/40/17 ?
PSI is a measurement, not a physical, thing.
I'd suggest putting compressed air in.

You do know when tyres get hot from long distances that the air inside expands?i have 31 front, 30 rear, but i have alight engine.
Its set relatively high (considering car weight and power) for high motorway speeds and often carrying passengers.
Coco.... What tyre pressures have you been running ?
Yes, but higher pressure is recommended for high speed or high load. You do know when tyres get hot from long distances that the air inside expands?i have 31 front, 30 rear, but i have alight engine.

Meaning if your on a long drive, the tyre pressure increases so it's higher than normal.
I'm running on 172 alloys and tyres in a 1.2 16v so I have mine set at 31 front/29 rear, a little lower on longer than 40 minute plus journeys.
I'm asking because you've had the wheels on it for ages so why ask now ?Coco.... What tyre pressures have you been running ?
32 all round why?
