I'd say so. The main game is tame platform type stuff. There are literally thousands of user created levels too.

There are litterally millions of people resetting their PSN passwords at the moment. Firstly, thats an awefull lot of emails to send out at once, and then, once they are out, its millions of email that all look almost identical flying through ISP's. Guess what that looks like.... yep, spam. Most ISPs are now throttling these emails as well as they are being picked up by their spam filters. You simply cannot expect to send out 70+ million emails over a few days and for them all to drop into peoples inboxes instantly.

Be patient, would you rather Sony DIDNT enforce a password change and some cretin wandered off with the contents of your bank account?

Between yesterday and today ive waited 3 hours to speak to 3 useless Sony employees, infact i dont think they are even as good as useless. I dont need your essays on what i already know, thanks.

^ THIS is THE reason I gave up with Sony a few years ago. Customer service I had from them was outragous and I never forgave them in the end.

I regularly shoot under her login to help her with her levels etc. so no real issue... I rarely use my headset unless on with friends who know I shoot as her a fair amount.

What games is everyone going for when they are available?

Has anyone got LBP or played it? Looks like it could be alright, especially online/exploring mates worlds. Not too keen on Infamous, played the demo and didn't get in to it.
Just watched some Dead Nation gameplay and it looks ok, again it could be decent with online co-op but i think it will get boring quick.
Ratchet and clunk just looks awful. Wipeout is just mental!

Good news!

Details of Sony's identity theft protection have been revealed for Europe.

The firm will be working together with Affinion International Limited to offer a comprehensive service that will be available to PSN users free of charge for 12 months.

The programme will monitor and alert users in changes to their personal information, provide them with protection software and access to a dedicated helpline, and insure them for the expenses incurred from identity theft.

The offer will be open to members in the United Kingdom, France, Spain, Italy and Germany. Details of how users can join the programme will be revealed soon.

Sony is working on similar protection for those in other regions and will update on its progress at a later date.

if your still waiting for the mail, keep trying to get that message up. I tried 4 times and didn't come so i tried it yesterday and the email arrived in 5 mins.

3 of my accounts i just did it on the PS3 but my other 2 accounts i had to do it online as it said a email has been sent to you

I turned on my ps3 the other week and did the update...turned it on Monday and went to sign in..it asked to to put in a new password and jobs a good-un.

Its as easy as that on your main account Richy, other accounts you use it sends you an email, which is great when you made up an address for a new PSN name...

Yeah not sure either. It mainly applies to people who don't have the original PS3 they registered with. There are plenty of exceptions though as I have a refurb model when my original one died but I didn't have to wait for a mail, just reset my password and job done.

I had an American account with the address of somewhere in Manhattan I think?!. Not too bothered as I only used the other accounts to download certain bits that wasn't on the uk store many moons ago.

They'll never charge for online gaming...they don't need to. Was watching a programme on BBC3 last night about superbrands and thay looked at Sony and the PS3. It's unbelieveable how much money they lose on each console sold. The way they make their money is through blu-ray sales...sony get a cut of every game sold and a cut of ALL blu-rays sold because they own the patent.
Have a look on BBC iplayer for 'Secrets of the Superbrands'.

Off topic but another company they look at is Nokia. Did you know they've been around since 1865 and they started out selling rubber shoes/boots and toilet paper?!? lol
