its not some crap caught in the centre section thats burning itself off maybe? how long has it been going on for? couple of days? did it start straight away?
White smoke is sometimes a sign that water vapour (in larger than normal amounts) is present in exhaust emissions. Sometimes points to weeping head gasket, check for low coolant level and/or white emulsion type stuff in enginer breathers and inside rocker cover. Probably aint but youll want to keep an eye, sorry if i am being a bit pessimistic. Good chance it aint though.
Umm I would say leave it for a couple of days see if it si something in the sysytem i.e sealant. As for the black smoke I get that on my 1400 only happened after if was chipped which I guess is due to the increased fueling.
As for the head gasket I very much doubt it, as you had a head rebuild at hillpower not long ago?
ill check the header tank et but like steve said i very much doubt its that as the head was rebuilt back on march.
prob as suggested crap in the sealent and stuff when putting on new centre section as it only happened after this was fitted. before i used to get black soot but thats gone now
