Purple Alloys?

Been thinking of getting my alloys powder coated in a dark metallic purple, what do you think?

I wouldn't do it on a road car. If it's a mad lairy track car or race car then I think you can get away with it, but I think it's a bit much for a road car.

why the hell not... do more of what makes YOU happy! Your car, your way! Most people prefer the standard OEM look or smart silver turinis..but each to their own. If you want something different, go for it.

My mate had candy RED on his civic it stood out but it sorta worked. I'd say midnight purple or something with a lot of gloss to it. To light of a purple won't look right. Maybe Cadbury colour?
Do the brakes off white would be an interesting colour combo.

I think it's the style of wheel that doesn't suit different colours, rather than the colour itself. When most people change their standard 182 wheels' colour it looks garbage.

I was going to swap with a lad off here but they were black and riddled with brake dust from CL pads on track.

I'm after a good set that dont need immediate attention as mine are in good condition.

I'm after a swap, not a buy as I dont need two sets of wheels.

I have red Clio Turbines on mine and TBH I find them quite loud! Some people like them though!
