Push Start?

just seen this, for £49. Has anyone converted to a push start before? anything i should look out? How hard are they to fit?

Push start is shite. Prefer an alarm start.

Start it from ur keyfob, doors still locked! Leave it to warm up while you get ready to leave!

had a hire car in the states with that...was mint.

car was nice and air conditioned before you got in

I've fitted it in the project car and it's pretty damn simple if you know your way round a relay and the basics of wiring. Also put the ignition on a button so no key anymore. Pm me if you have any trouble and i'll try to help.

also got a switch for fuel pump so i'm gonna have a starting sequence to go through each time (gonna be like james may when he drove the aston race car lmao)

Waste of time, I had one on my last car that's how it came as standard, had to turn the key twice & then press it. Waste of time.

Take the chip out of the Key and tape it to the ignition barrel, et voila, permanently immobilised car

sounds cool to me bud, just be carefull with the wireing known a few ppl to get it wrong lol. Remote start is shat! my m8s civic's got it came with the alarm, its especialy gash if you forget its in gear n start it up n "BUMP!" you've just drove your car into the garage or wall lol pointless little thing, must be if its on PIMP my Ride.

You may aswell just turn the key one more time to fire it up. The only time I thought it looked cool (if you can call it cool) was when I pressed the start button while standing out side the car.

i will still have to put the key in to turn ignition on, as i want it as security more than anything

push start isnt a necessity or practical, but then i could say the same thing about pretty much my whole car lmao

my mate bought a supra, he was lovin the remote start until he left it in gear... its started up and drove down the road. the handbrake was on so after it hit his mates transit, it stalled!! unfortunatly it then started it self up again and started pushin the transit down the road!!! funniest car story i ever heard lol :clown:

my meg is engine start button, well gay, cant stand it!

my mates teg has the alarm start but its temperamental but when it works its good fun!

Dont see the point in push button tbh its just lazy. My cousins got one in his DB7 but not sure if he has to put the key in first or not, i think he does. but anyway that just makes it pointless!
