question about black refurb !

im getting my wheels refurbed in satin black... now ive heard that some people have had trouble with this i was wondering what can go wrong.. ive heard that sometimes the black reacts with the laquer.... that the black flakes etc etc anyone know what to look out for ?? thanks

if you laqure satin you may as well just use gloss black

yeh true but how would u go about protecting the finish then ??
