Question about 'Caged' Roll Cages

Caged make the one with a bolt in subframe, no mods required, rear only. That would more than likely gain more interest since its easily reversible with no permanent damage.

if you mean..."if caged made" then i would say to that, caged make proper cages, proper cages fit properly...ie, either need welding in or bolting through the chassis / body, caged will not make a cage to fit existing fittings / locations because they don't beleive that it is safe enough and wouldn't jeopordise there name

I have, as Jenic has, just purchased what i beleive to be a Caged Bolt in 1/2 cage that mounts to existing mounts in the car.

The above 2 quotes taken from -

Made me wonder...

1) Do i actually have a 'Caged' Roll cage
2) Did 'Caged' stop making them through a saftey concern?

For reference this is the exact same cage I have -

I think your reading into Neils comment a bit too much.

The way I see it is, Caged are trying to position themselves in the motorsport market as being the best, so bolt in cages using existing points aren't really their cuppa.

On face value, i'd say that "MSV" designed the cage, and caged just make it - but it's not something they would normally do.

Maybe someone can clarify though.

Ah Ok... I took the comment at face value, To Be Honest I'm happy with the cage I purchased, It was more for interest sake than anything else.
