Question about Catalytic Converters on the 182

I have a Milltek Cat-Back exhaust system on my 182, the exhaust also has the cat replacement pipe.

Does anyone know if I will need to purchase a Milltek catalytic converter to fit the exhaust or will I be able to fit the original cat to the system?

I would imagine that the cat replacement pipe is exactly the same length as the cat - so logic dictates a cat should fit back in. If I was a 'phone a friend' I would say 90% certain!

If the exhaust and de-cat pipe are off-the-shelf systems (i.e; direct replacement for OEM) then the standard cat should fit back in.
If it's a custom jobbie then possibly not.

has the center section to the cat not got an adjustable length joint like on my ktec?

Sounds like it should be ok then hopefully, ill get my mate to try and fit it back on this weekend for the MOT,
