Question About Road Tax

When the tax on a car expires how long is it before they clamp you.? No it is not me im a good boy .

14 days before an auto matic fine isn't it.

i didnt have tax for a month and a half and didnt get fined last year
forgot to change my v5 when i moved and didnt get my reminder
that was two months ago havent heard anythng yet

when i had my bike off the road (not sorn) the tax ran out, i taxed it about a month after the reminder, and didnt get any fine.

thought it was instant, but then I heard there was a backlog at the DVLA.

will the back pannel come off if you undo the rear bots?

I will look in Halfords then. The back will come off yes, but I reckon it will be fiddly as hell doing it that way.
