Question about Standard HeadUnit Ph1 172

Hi,

I bought my Ph1 172 yesterday and it's standard, I mean tape deck standard and it is staying that way but the sound I think is awful, basic option I guess are live with it :S

or I thought would the 6 disc changer work with a newer standard headunit, i.e. are the newer standard Renault headunits better and will they fit?

I found the sound system in my ph1 every bit as good (if not better) than the one in my 182.

In fact I'm pretty sure its a 60W system in the ph1 and only a 40W system in the PH2's.

Maybe your speakers are knackered, or the head unit is.
